Simon Bouisson’s Drone tells the gripping story of a student, Émilie, whose life spirals into unease as a mysterious drone starts tracking her every move. The film’s tension was brought to life by MPC Paris, who delivered over 100 expertly crafted VFX shots, under the supervision of Hugues Namur and VFX producer Estelle Matranga.
The team used compositing, animation, and environment creation techniques to seamlessly integrate the drone into the story. With Nicolas Borens and Venkatesh R’s supervision, compositing blending was flawless between live action and digital elements. Elise Bernateau’s animation team infused the drone with lifelike precision. Environment artists Christophe “Tchook” Courgeau enriched the atmospheric visuals of the film, enhancing its suspenseful tone.
