Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) takes fans behind the scenes of Deadpool & Wolverine, showcasing the incredible visual effects that bring this iconic duo to life. Directed by Shawn Levy, the film combines sharp claws and fourth-wall-breaking humor, with ILM’s artistry playing a pivotal role in creating its unique visual style.
ILM Visual Effects Supervisor Vincent Papaix and Associate Supervisor Georg Kaltenbrunner led the VFX team in collaboration with Animation Supervisor Alexander Poei to deliver dynamic action sequences and seamless character integration into the world. Visual Effects Producers Josiane Fradette and Russell Lum supported the meticulous planning and execution, with additional oversight by Production VFX Supervisor Swen Gilbert and Producer Lisa Marra.
It includes the madcap antics of Deadpool to Wolverine’s raw power. Here, ILM’s team has done everything to heighten the effect, raising storytelling to great heights. That teamwork goes further because the result is a beauty by master editor Chris Hawkinson: full of action, humor, intensity, and a blend to every frame.
