1920 delivered more than 100 VFX shots that enhanced intense storytelling of the season. For instance, FX rain on iconic wet streets of London, which included compositing DMPs over green-screened footage for realistic environment settings, as well as adding muzzle flashes and impacts for a high-octane shootout.
Key contributors to the show were VFX Supervisor James Etherington-Sparks, VFX Producer Chee Yen Wang, DMP Artist Jordan Haynes, and compositors Chrys Aldred and Robert Lilley. They helped bring a visual authenticity to the show that grounded the espionage drama in a richly atmospheric world.
