Bringing Woodwalkers to life was no small feat, and PXO rose to the challenge as the lead VFX house, working closely with Blue Eyes Productions. Under the guidance of PXO VFX Supervisor Max Riess, the team meticulously crafted photorealistic animal transformations that seamlessly blend live-action and CGI.
The film follows Carag, a shapeshifting puma, and his adventures at Clearwater High, a secret school for Woodwalkers. Creating lifelike digital creatures required a deep understanding of animal behavior, ensuring that each transformation felt natural and emotionally resonant.
From concept development to final execution, PXO employed cutting-edge techniques to capture dynamic movements and detailed textures, making every shift between human and animal both believable and visually stunning. Woodwalkers pushes the boundaries of creature VFX, setting a new standard for shapeshifter storytelling in cinema.
